Lightcense is a small licensing service. Software that uses it asks Lightcense whether its license is valid, and keeps working, even offline for a while, as long as the answer is yes.

What we handle

To check a license, the service receives the license key and an identifier for the device asking. It is used for licensing and nothing else.
